Michael Guerriere
ABOUT
Michael Guerriere is currently an actor based in both the New York and Philadelphia regions. At 28, he has already amassed quite a resumé across his stellar career which has spanned across 20 years so far. Ranging from golden era masterpieces to contemporary spectacles, Michael received his Bachelor of Arts degree from DeSales University in Center Valley PA. Some of his favorite musicals that he has performed in include Newsies, West Side Story, Hello Dolly!, She Loves Me, Singin' in the Rain, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
When he is not performing, some of Michael's favorite things to do is hang out with his family and friends, spend some quality time with his wonderful girlfriend, enjoy a refreshing margarita, and watch his favorite soccer player Lionel Messi, and posting on his Instagram page (@mike_guerriere). One thing that Michael has been doing in recent years, being that he's Autistic himself, is challenge the status quo when it comes to how Autistic people are perceived in society. Of course, you can't forget mentioning that he absolutely adores watching musicals. The most recent musical he watched was How To Dance In Ohio on Broadway, a show that hits close to home for him. Although saddened that its run was cut short, Michael appreciated that he felt seen in the characters that were portrayed by authentically Autistic actors. So much so that he decided to write a review, praising highly about it on his Instagram and Facebook accounts.
Michael always wears his heart on his sleeve. His passion is what drives him to keep performing and teaching and pleasing audiences. The one thing he always hopes for is that an audience will leave a theater after watching a performance and thinks critically about what themes the show was conveying to them. He finds it gratifying to know that whenever someone tells him about how moved they were after a performance, Michael knows that he and the cast and crew of a production have done an amazing job. His career is far from over and his passion for the arts is far from smoldering. Anyone would be proud to cast him in their productions based on his work ethic, his drive, and his love for what he does best - performing on a stage.
